A small, independent publication about consumer computer security, run from Prague, funded by affiliate commission, and built to collect nothing about the people who read it.
What we publish
Two kinds of page, and we keep them visibly distinct:
Product explainers
What a security product actually includes, what it leaves out, and what the independent laboratories have measured. These pages carry partner links and are labelled as advertising-funded at the top.
Guides
How phishing, ransomware, password reuse and backups actually work — the parts that no software purchase fixes. Read the guides.
Who runs it
vectaris.online is published by DILA A ROBOTA s.r.o., a limited liability company registered in the Czech Republic under number 19691289, with its registered office at Vosmíkových 930/12, Libeň, 180 00 Praha 8, Czech Republic. Editorial responsibility rests with Anthony Adams, who is the director of publication. Full registration details are in the legal notice.
How it is paid for
Affiliate commission, and nothing else. There are no display ads, no sponsored posts, no newsletter to sell, no paid rankings. When a reader follows a partner link and buys, the advertiser pays us a commission out of its own margin; the reader pays the normal price. The disclosure page explains the mechanics, and the editorial policy explains what the money is not allowed to buy.
Three commitments
We collect nothing
No cookies, no analytics, no pixels, no fonts or scripts from anybody else’s server. We do not know which headline performs better, because finding out would mean watching you. Verify it yourself.
We cite, date and correct
Every claim is sourced to a primary document, every page carries a date and a named byline, and corrections are published on the page rather than slipped in. The rules.
We say what a product is not
A page that only lists strengths is an advertisement. Ours state device limits, missing features, renewal-price traps and the free alternative.
What we are not
Not a shop, not a testing laboratory, not a news organisation, not anybody’s support desk, and not connected to any brand we write about. We cannot help with a licence, a refund or a subscription — those go to the vendor. See the contact page for what we can and cannot do.
